1. INTRODUCTION
The second edition of our contest will be held in Albania, after Dua Lipa's victory in the first edition. 49 countries will take part of the contest and, as in the real Eurovision happens, we will have two semifinals (7th August and 9th August) and one Grand Final (25th August).
2. NEWS AND CHANGES RESPECT TO LAST EDITION
Here you have ALL the new issues and things of this 2nd edition:
- NO BIG5 countries: Although we are also having 6 authomatic qualifiers, these ones won't be the BIG5 countries; as in the RULES PAGE is explained, the first six countries in each edition will get a ticket to the Grand Final of the next contest, so in this case, the first six countries in the first edition qualified directly to the final of this second edition. These lucky countries are Albania (the winner of the last edition and, of course, the host of this one), Belgium (2nd place), Ukraine (3rd place), Sweden (4th place), France (5th place) and Russia (6th place).
- More professionalism in the Jury Pannel: Yes, we know that you got shocked in the 1st edition when we announced that between our juries we had some famous people and singers (such as Christabelle or Sophia Nizharadze). But we want more artists and Eurovision people voting, more professionalism, more musical criteria in the jury votes and, to some up, more EUROVISION. We will reveal the jury pannel a few days before the semifinals, so you have to wait some weeks until that amazing moment; however, we can assure that you will love our jury pannel!
- Heads of Delegation: We chose randomly all the songs which took part in the first edition, but as it's explained in our RULES PAGE, now YOU can propose us whatever song for your favourite country! Then, you will be the "boss" and the HEAD OF DELEGATION of that country. The only requirement you have to meet is the one we refer before (the artist has to be born or at least he/she has to do something with the country you want him/her to represent). Also, even though you are a head of delegation, you will be able to vote (in the televote part, not in the jury one) without voting your "HoD" country. You have to be alert and to stayed tune at our social media pages because we are announcing very soon the dates and the schedule when you will be able to propose songs. Amazing, isn't it?
- Postcard's pattern: In the full shows' videos, before every act, a postcard introduces the country that is going to appear on the stage, as in the real Eurovision happens. In the first edition, every postcard showed amazing pictures of the culture and traditions of the host country, Israel. However, in this second edition the postcards will be focused on the country that is going to perform. Every postcard will consist of a martian animated cartoon that begins a travel to the country that is going to act, showing us pictures, hallmarks and traditions of it. Don't miss them!
- New design: A new design is being created for this amazing second edition. The videos will be accompained by a new style and design that will show us the progress and the modernization process that is suffering the host country, Albania. Modernity and minimalism will be the adjectives that will define the design of our posts and videos (recaps, voting sequences, images, transitions, effects...).
- No Copyright problems: In the first edition we had some copyright impediments and it was a little stressful for us to fix those problems. Nonetheless, that made us learn how to avoid copyright barriers and then, in this second edition, the full shows' videos will be uploaded to Google Drive, and we will give you a link to it (you will have these links in this website and on our TWITTER PAGE). These videos are a bit big for our computers or mobile phones, so wait a little and be patient while you are downloading it or just opening it. Then, enjoy the full shows! The rest of our videos (voting sequences, recaps...), will be uploaded to our YOUTUBE PAGE as in the last edition. We hope no more copyright problems, although if it happens, we can assure you that we'll solve it!
